    upgrading windows 10 reboot cycle at 75%


    hi, i have a toshiba satellite laptop with a windows 7 operating system. i began to install the windows 10 upgrade but at 75% the computer went into a reboot cycle. i tried some settings in the BIOS and the computer continues to restart. any ideas?

    I have upgraded to Windows 10 (and a little sorry). The newest wrinkle is update continues to download Windows 10 upgrade and automatically running the upgrade. Grrr It runs to 75% and then hangs. I reboot and it returns to the previously operating
    system (which is windows 10 Grrr ) How do I get this to stop?

    Can I copy personal files from a hard drive with a failed Windows 10 install?

    I upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10 and was stuck in a reboot cycle. I chose to repair the installation and the reboot cycle is even shorter now, never even reaching the login screen.

    Can I put this notebook hard drive in an external enclosure to access and copy my personal files onto another Windows Vista computer?

    Do you mean 75% at the Circle upgrade part or prior to that?

    yeah at circle upgrade, my computer reboots, the new windows logo appears then 75% circle appears for maybe 2 seconds and then computer reboots and continues to, any thoughts?
