Windows 10: Upgrading Windows 10 to 11 error 0x800703ee

My PC meets all requirements for Windows 11 upgrade but I get the 0x800703ee error when I try to upgrade using Windows Update. I have a feeling it has something to do with my C drive set up. Any ideas how I can resolve this?

Did you solve your problem? I have exact same problem; Error 0x800703ee when windows 10 tries installing 1607. I've also tried your initial steps; no luck.

New on the forum, long time lurker.

So my problem. Windows 10 wont update. Error code "0x800703ee". Things i have tried so far:

• Cleaned and restarted Windows Update
• SFC /Scannow
• Followed this guide: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...d-8928bd7831be
• Tried updating via ISO
• Tried the" Win 10 Upgrade Assistant"

A while ago i had to recreate my EFI parition, perhaps it has something to do with it?
The last thing is to do a clean install, but such a hassel with all my hours of customization down the drain.
