Windows 10: Upload speed under 1 mbps on ethernet

So I have gigabit internet and have never had a problem on my computer until about a month ago but I haven't had the time to figure it out till today and all that I have done is make the problem worse. I had an issue where my download speed was 800-900 range which is what I expect, but my upload speed was anywhere from .10 - 1.5mbps Today I made sure it wasn't the cable/router itself so I plugged the ethernet cable that's in my PC now into one of my laptops and the download and upload were where they should be.I followed the advice listed in those two links below and all that has come from it

Ethernet Link Speed at 10 Mbps

Hello, I have been having some slow ethernet. I went through the settings and in the properties for mt connection it says the link speed (transmit/receive) is at 10/10 Mbps. When I try wifi its capped at 520 Mbps but its very unstable most of the time, so I want to use ethernet. Here is some information about my situation:

• Using a Cat.6 Cable
  
• Tried reinstalling ethernet drivers
  
• I tried resetting the network through the settings
  
• I tried all of the steps on this page Fix Ethernet connection problems in Windows - Microsoft Support
  

I would really appreciate additional ideas on how to fix this problem.

Ethernet speed capped at 100 Mbps

I have a Lenovo Legion T5 28IMB05, and my Ethernet connection is capped at 100 Mbps.

Things I have already tried and didn't work:

• Switch to another cable. Originally, I had a CAT5e and as my speed was capped, I bought a CAT6. It didn't help (though I'm still using it)
  
• Force the driver to use 1000 Mbps full duplex
  
• Try my cable and router with another PC. It works
  
• Try to boot from a live USB running Ubuntu 21.10. It also didn't reach full speed
  

The funny thing is that if a plug a USB Ethernet adapter (TP-link UE330), it reaches gigabit speeds with that cable and router; and then if I reconnect the cable to the Ethernet port on my PC, IT WORKS at gigabit speeds for as long as I have the PC turned on. When I restart, it goes back to 100 Mbps.

As of course, I prefer not to have to depend on a USB dongle to reach full speed on my network, what can I do?

 

Relatively slow internet upload speeds.

My old computer and my wife's computer had around 850 Mbps upload speed via Speedtest. Wife built me a new computer using an ASUS TUF gaming Z590 Motherboard and intel chip. Using the same Ethernet cable as before, which use to garner the 850 Mbps speed, the new computer only produces an upload speed of about 32 Mbps. Same cable! Same Modem, Same router. Wife's computer hooked to the same router still pushes 850 Mbps upload. We have updated cFosSpeed program to latest version. Running Windows 11...Switching Ethernet cables does not help... Any suggestions????
