Windows 10: Uploading files from Medion Drive n Go via USB

Hi. I have a Medion Drive n Go hard drive with music files. Connected to laptop via USB port, connection is fine. Windows 10 on laptop. Wont recognize any USB connection. Cant upload the music files. Can anyone help please?

Windows 10 has stopped recognising my Medion external disc drive

After a year of running windows 10 with a "Medion HD drive 2 go" USB external disc drive for large files with no problems, the computer has suddenly stopped finding the drive. I have tried some suggestions from the Community like unplugging the drive and
restarting the computer. I have asked it to add a device in control panel but it just says no devices found. All connections appear good and disc runs OK I believe. Any suggestions?

 

USB boot for bios update

Did the first step. It already doesn't work. Note the capacities and drive letters M:/N: The HP utility is about to format my raid-1 volume containing my 2 750gb drives. It thinks it's the usb stick. I can not select any other drives in the HP utility. My 512mb usb stick is U:.

Any other suggestions?
