Windows 10: [Urgent] A series problems popped up after updating the account login password as required

Hi everyone.I was connecting the company intranet and the windows started downloading the updates. Then I forgot what exactly I did it turned to the classic blue/green screen and said the current password is expired and need to update a new one. After I finished updating the password, TERRIBLE Things just happened...1. It showed an error message:"The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship."I thought this account was expired or canceled by the company. So I tried logging in with my current account which is used on the desktop,

Okay I don't see any known troublemakers in the shell extensions shown in explorer tab.





Would suggest checking for updates for the softwares listed and installing updates if available.

 

No login password craziness

Brink, that was the missing step. What threw me off was in netplwiz, where it asks about password for my MS account, the user name was not the same as my MS account name. Once I entered the password (twice) I can now login without entering a password. In fact the name that was listed was not the MS account name, but a folder name. The folder is the one that shows when you click on C:\Users.

Local Account password changed to Online Account Password

Hi,

I suggest you to follow the steps on how to switch from Microsoft account to Local account:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Local account instead.
• Enter your Microsoft account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the Local account and click OK.
• Now, login to Local account.
