Urgent advice needed! I made a slide show in Photos for my Dad's funeral. Many of the photos are only displaying the center portion. I can not find where I can choose Fit to Screen. HELP

Photos added to an album in Windows 10 'Photos' App are no longer visible in the album. URGENT help required

Dear friends

I am organising my Dad's funeral.

My digital photos are all over the place on the hard drive of my PC and three external drives from previous years. It is a project on my large list of t do's.

My teenage son has spent the last few evening going through every single folder (multiple folders on different drives holding duplicate photos) to try and find all the photos of my Dad. He found 103 and yesterday and each one he added to a folder named 'Grandad' Today that album says it has 103 photos in it, but when I go in only one of them is availalbe, It can't find the other files.

Earlier today I tried to access the 'Grandad' album wihtout the external drives being plugged in to the pc. I don't know if that has anything to do with the photos now not being visible in the 'Grandad' album. But I rebooted the PC and plugged in all the drives and switched them on, but the photos app still can display the 102 missing photos in the 'Grandad' album.

Please does anyone have any ideas? I wanted to access these today to choose some photos for the order of service for the funeral - which I think I have to send to the Funeral director by tomorrow.

Please help! Very distressing

Use the following steps:

Navigate to Settings>Personalize>Background

Under background,

In the drop down list select Slide show.

photo app - How can I do a slideshow in an album? I only see the slideshow option outside of albums.

I suggest you to follow the below steps for the slideshow option and check if it helps.

  Open the “Photo App”
  
• 
  Go to any three options “Collection”, “Albums” and “Folders”.
  
• 
  Click on any “Photo” and press the key “F5” it will launch slide show.
