Windows 10: URGENT: My Microsoft Account Was Hacked, Email Changed to .RU Address, Now Locked Out...

Hi,I desperately need help with a serious security breach. What Happened:My Microsoft account was recently hacked.I was logged out and, when trying to recover it, I discovered that the recovery email had been changed to unknown .ru addresses including Rambler.ru and others.Now, the recovery form says the account "does not exist", even though it was active just days ago.I’ve seen emails like ex*****@rambler.ru, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, and others tied to the account during attempted logins.I am completely locked out of the account and can’t get access to support. Microsoft account email was changed to ru******@rambler.ru

I just factory reset my computer to find that my Microsoft account under "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" doesn't exist. I found the Xbox Gamertag associated with the account (wille1909) by looking through my old account's friends list. Apparently "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" is now a secondary email to an account with the username set to ru******@rambler.ru, an email address I've never seen in my life. I'd like to get my account back as fast as possible as this account is extremely valuable to me, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey, i really don't know if this is the right area to talk about this, this may take abit of explanation. I came back to my computer to find that my normal email that is connected to my microsoft account i use to access my windows is not what it is but instead was ru*****@rambler.ru now at that moment i did see the actual email address but i was scared that i got hacked i went straight into my administrator and deleted that user which in reality is the user i use every day to do my school work and everything else, i know this was a stupid decision and i hate myself for it but i did made a system restore before i did that and got my user account back but because my windows account was connected to my microsoft account and because they have changed the email to whatever it is ru*****@rambler.ru i cannot do anything, i have looked at the fourms but they need the acutal full email to even begin to recover if its possible. Im sorry if my grammer or how i sentenced things was bad, not the best at english but please is there any way to retrieve my account back?

 

Unauthorized Emails from my account?

It is more than likely that your email account was hacked, either by a virus sniffing your password, or just simply hacked.

Either way, change your password on your email account. Unfortunately the damage by already be done. They already have your contact list and your email address associated with that contact list. There is nothing stopping them from sending out emails using their own SMTP servers to everyone on your contact list and claiming the emails are from your email address. They don't actually have to have access to your yahoo account or even any yahoo server to send emails to people that come from your address.
