    Urgent Need Help: Window 10 Update Version 1803 - Possible Issue


    Hello,

    I can only guess that my issue is related to Version 1803 update that occurred on my laptop on April 6, 2019, mainly because I had no issues with opening my accounting software prior to this update. The last time I worked with Sage Accounting software was around April 2/3rd, 2019.



    Sage Accounting offers a number of solutions and although I've tried all of them, none are related to Windows 10 (so far).



    Issue #1: When I try to open company files via their software I keep getting a pop-up window that indicates that the software can not open the company files because, "some database files are read-only. Please ensure you have sufficient rights to the files, then try again."



    Issue #2. Not sure what I should do with the follow:

    When I right click the '.sai" files, under Security I notice an image of a single person along with a "?" followed by "S-1-5-21-259517857-166647464-4232189806-1000", and identified as Account Unknown.



    Not sure if both of the above are related by I hope you can offer a solution.

    How was this solved? Maybe it could help someone else, since there are numerous various problems with 1803 (and yes, I know many others have had no problems, as well).
