Windows 10: URGENT! Windows stuck on "preparing to configure windows, dont shut down"

Issue: I did some windows file installing and restarted since it wasnt working, now its just stuck in "preparing to configure" windows, what do i do.

Preparing to configure windows stuck

Hi itsewelina,

I need to do further investigation so that I can identify the cause of the issue. Have you recently made any changes on your device before the issue happened (Updates, Installing software, etc...) ?

I suggest that you perform System restore through the Windows Recovery Environment and see if it helps. Follow the steps below:

• 
  Start your desktop, and after the manufacturers logo disappears and Windows 10 tries to boot, press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds to perform a hard shut down.
  
• 
  Do the step #1 until you see the Windows logo screen or Please wait during boot. (You may need to perform this up to
  3 times.)
  
• 
  After Windows 10 boots into the Windows 10 Recovery Environment (WinRE), you can now access Startup Recovery,
  Safe Mode, and Command Prompt.
  
• 
  Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > System Restore,
  and then check if you have a restore point.
  
• 
  In the list of available restore points, choose the date prior to the issue. Steps can be found in this article on
  how to perform a System Restore. Refer to Restore from a system restore point.

The "Preparing to configure windows" means that your computer is applying the necessary update and changes made on the computer. Being stuck on that page might be caused by software conflicts or due to corrupted system files.

Meanwhile, I suggest that you that you perform a clean boot. A clean boot will help eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program, update, or when you run a program in Windows 10. To do this, refer to the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R on your keyboard.
  
• On the run command box, type msconfig, and then hit
  Enter.
  
• On the Services tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click to select the
  Hide all Microsoft services check box, and then tap or click
  Disable all.
  
• On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click Open
  Task Manager.
  
• On the Startup tab in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then click
  Disable.
  
• Close Task Manager.
  
• On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click
  OK, and then restart the computer.
