    Good Morning,


    I am unable to open my word document for my MBA class that is due today at 7:00 pm. Please help, I am getting this error message

    Word docs unreadable

    Had been working on Word earlier. Came back to open up a document and couldn't do so. Then found out that every Word doc I clicked on that there was a similar problem.

    I get the following message:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\WINWORD.EXE

    The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

    Okay I don't see any known troublemakers in the shell extensions shown in explorer tab.

    Would suggest checking for updates for the softwares listed and installing updates if available.

    Word App unreadable

    I've paid my subscription. All good there. I only use Word. I use it every day. Now today, the app is unreadable.

    If I can't actually use Word which is the only reason I pay the $129 each year, then what do I do?

    This is actually really serious and a major dilemma for my business operations. I need it fixed asap.
