Windows 10: Urgently need to stop scheduled UPGRADE not update today/Friday

I purchased a computer last week with Win10 and during Micro Center Store's setup it decided on its own to upgrade to windows 11without my consent... at noon today EDT-U.S.I've searched the web and all I get is instructions on how to stop/cancel windows updates... not upGRADES.Can someone give me simple instructions?

Okay I don't see any known troublemakers in the shell extensions shown in explorer tab.





Would suggest checking for updates for the softwares listed and installing updates if available.

 

Cannot schedule a task with Task Scheduler - error 2147942403

Hi,

I suggest you to check the below settings and check fi it helps.

• In task scheduler, click on the scheduled job properties > then settings.
• In the last listed option: "If the task is already running, the following rule applies:"
• Select "Stop the existing instance" from the drop down list.
• Save and Exit. Then check whether the task is running or not.

Scheduling Windows 10 updates

We suggest you to schedule a restart instead, after downloading Windows update. To do that, follow the steps below:

• Windows icon.
• Type Settings.
• Click Update and Security.
• Click Advanced options.
• On Choose how update are installed, click the drop down button. See the screenshot below:
