Windows 10: USB 2.0 Capture Card Problem

Okay, so I got a little problem with my capture card, specifically TWO problems. The first one is the quality: the quality is really bad and i am not sure how to fix it. I use obs to capture my VHS with the capture card, i use really good settings but the quality still looks like an JPEG image but as an video. Second problem is that the capture card has an error, like i go to device manager and i go to cameras and i have AV TO USB 2.0 here, and when i go to properties and to events, it shows that Device Settings were not migrated or something like that. How do I fix that?

I could capturing volume in physical device.

Maybe, you can capture volume with dism.exe.



Step by steps,

1. Boot WinPE by USB storage.

2. Shift + F10 (run cmd.exe).

X: WinPE

C: USB Storage

I'd like to add "D:" for capturing volume.

3. run diskpart.

4. assign drive letter that you 'd like to capturing volume.



For example,

diskpart

list disk

select disk 0

list volume

select volume 0

assign letter=D



5. dism.exe /Capture-Image /ImageFile:C:\sources\install.wim /CaptureDir:\



Please try to capture in Hyper-V enviroment.

Game Card Capture HDMI/USB

So I am trying to plug in my game capture card, I have 3 different kinds, and none of my streaming programs are detecting any of them. I have tried all 3, many different ways as well as unplugging/rebooting everything. Am i doing something wrong? Is it my computer? I just streamed my switch using one of the game cards on my HP laptop the other night and it worked fine. I just got a new All in one HP desktop and it isn't reading any of the Game Capture Cards. I've tried hdmi port, USB, SS Usb, as well as a new one that uses the USB and plugs directly into the switch (I watched a YT video on it and did the steps exactly like the guy and it still did not work). Is this desktop just not compatible with Game Capture Cards? I also just used HDMI to HDMI directly from the switch to the desktop and obviously that did not work either. Help!

To understand the issue better, I would like to know do ‘’when you say update’’ do you refer to November update (Windows 10 Version 1511)?

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. I recommend you to uninstall/reinstall the capture card driver and check. Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Locate for the device (Capture card) and click on it to expand.
  
• 
  Right click on the device and click on
  uninstall.
  

Go to the capture card manufacturer website, download and install the latest capture card driver.
