  1. USB 2.0 device not recognised

I have a new Windows server 2019 machine which I am accessing remotely. There is a USB 2.0 licence dongle plugged into one of the main board USB ports device has power due to illuminated LED. The drivers for this device have been installed however I cannot see the device in device manager and it is not functioning to enable an application to run. The device has been tested in a windows 11 enterprise laptop and a virtual wins server 2019 machine via USB-anywhere hub and is recognised as expected . I have disabled the option to let the computer turn off USB port power. Other USB devices appea

  2. O/S is not recognising device via usb connection

Please help. I am trying to connect my iPod to my ASUS X540 L with O/S windows 10 but it does not even recognise that the device is connected via USB even though the iPod is charging. The same thing happens when I try to connect my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge
via USB. I have 2 USB ports on this laptop yet neither one of them works. Device manager states they are working properly yet none of my plugged in devices are showing up on the list. Here is a copy of the message in device manager "USB Root Hub (USB 3.0)
    Properties, Events"

    Device USB\ROOT_HUB30\4&b5e9dc6&0&0 was migrated.

    Last Device Instance Id: USB\ROOT_HUB30\4&b5e9dc6&0&0

    Class Guid: {36FC9E60-C465-11CF-8056-444553540000}

    Location Path:

    Migration Rank: 0x0

    Present: true

A very similar message shows for USB Composite device and Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller. I have no idea what that means or what I can do to make my laptop recognise devices connected via USB. I would appreciate any suggestions you might have
    to fix this.

    Thank you kindly.

    Regards,

    Monica

    USB Device Not Recognised

The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it.

This is the message I am getting. My other USB's work fine.

This particular one, I have tried on 2 other laptops - same message.

There are a few word docs on there only,

    Best Buy want $650.
