  1. Usb 2.0 not working in Hp 15

Hello, this is the first time I am having a problem with any flash drives. I just bought 2.0 flash drives and went tor tey them out and the computer does not recognize it correctly. It shows me in the hidden icon bkx that its there and i hear the noise noting that it has been inserted but it will not show up under my computer. Again, the comouter is an Hp 15 running on Windows 10 containing USB 3.0 ports. I thought it was backwards compatible. Can anyone help because I did want to use these before considering returning them.

Thanks so much get back with me ASAP.

    :)

    USB boot for bios update

Did the first step. It already doesn't work. Note the capacities and drive letters M:/N: The HP utility is about to format my raid-1 volume containing my 2 750gb drives. It thinks it's the usb stick. I can not select any other drives in the HP utility. My 512mb usb stick is U:.

    Any other suggestions?
