Windows 10: USB 2.0 to AUX wont work.

When I use AUX to AUX on my PC I get a buzzing sound that gets really loud with certain games. So I bought a USB to AUX cable to try fix my issue. However, when I plug in the USB to my computer and plug the aux cord into my headphones they don't do anything. My USB ports do work as I have my microphone plugged into the other USB port I have tried swapping them around and the microphone still works in either one, but not my headphones Windows doesn't even recognize that I have another audio device plugged in. How do I get this to work?

Laptop Aux Out Speakers not Working with USB Speakers

Hello,

I just bought USB speakers (no aux 3.5mm jack). Now the speakers that are plugged into the aux out won't work (were working before). Can you have USB and aux out speakers working at the same time?

Strange aux issue

Hey!
So, when I plug any sort of AUX cable into my PC, whether its speakers, headset, headphones, it won't work unless they were in when the computer turned on.

Basically, I have to have my headphones plugged in before turning my PC on or AUX wont work.

Intel Updates Core 2 Quad Q9550 to E-0 Stepping

We continue our Monday news list with another Intel story that brings to our attention information concerning the company and more specificly its 2.83GHz Core 2 Quad Q9550 chips that will move from the current C-1 to the newer E-0 stepping. The updated chips will start selling on August 22nd, featuring the following changes:

• New SSpec and MM numbers for the converting products
• CPUID will change from 0x10677 to 0x1067A
• Package change to Halide free package

Apart from that, the new stepping CPUs will not include any other changes. Of course, like most new stepping parts a BIOS update will be needed.
