Windows 10: USB 3.0 32gb pen drive not recognised

My pen drive was working properly last year but now its not recgnised. It's a 32gb 3.0 usb pen drive. it is working 100% and how do i know that? If i plug it in to my lenovo legion laptop with windows 10 on it, it doesnt work, if i plug it in in my good old acer with a windows 7 it is working perfectly. Tried reinstalling drivers from device manager, tried updating all the drivers with the lenovo service and other programs but still nothing, even the registry stuff didnt work. Please help me out, big thanks

USB Pen Drive Failure

Thanks spunk. I have tried what you have suggested but no joy it is not recognised by Disk Management, so I would guess that the drive has indeed failed. I get the error message attached when inserting the drive but that is all.

Initially from a fresh 'boot' the drive is always recognised and displays contents correctly, but following the sleep mode the pen drive is missing?

Anyone had this and know if there is a fix please?

• When did this happen?
• Were there any recent changes made to your device prior to the issue?
• Does it appear in the disk management?
• Can you connect other USB drives and see if the same error will occur?

• Open Device Manager.
