Windows 10: USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports didn't accept External Hard Disks

Disks EXTERNAL cannot be connected to any USB port on the computer. ONE 3.1 PORT CONNECTING Even if connected, the speed will be very low. This is how it is...? Other usb peripherals workingSPECSGigabyte z270 Hd3p mobo16gb ram4 gb graphicsIntel i7 7700k

There are only two WD or Segate

What I want:-

2.LAN port
3.Torrent client
4.DLNA streaming

Ok, my question is in first auto detect my ports are listed 3-4- and 6
in the intel matrix storage ports are listed 2-3- and 5 ??? is this my problem and if so how did this happen .

Hi Kati

When you added the new SSD did you connect that to the SATA port on the motherboard that the original hard drive was connected to, or to another port?

If you swap round the SATA ports on your Motherboard for those drives and change the boot order in BIOS to boot form SATA port 0 (the SSD), then the SSD should be Disk 0 and the HDD disk 1 . ..
