Windows 10: usb 3.0 dvd driver does not work after UPDATE V 22H2 installed on 11/16/2023

Window 11 HomeAfter the the most recent WIN 11 UPDATE V 22H2 installed on 11/16/2023 my USB 3.0 CD/DVD does not work.MthsTec RW DVD- was working before the update.When I connect it to a 3.0 USB hub it does not play or recognize a dvd disk...just keeps connecting and diconnecting while beepingI updated the driver in device manager.This just started with this update...and on all my WIN 11 computers that have been updated.I don't have any WIN 11 computer with older TO CHECK....Here's current driver:Microsoft 6/21/2006 FILE VERS. 10.0.22621.1 WINBUILD 160101.0800 Microsoft Windows c:\windowa\sy

how to fix 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706)

Why would an in-place Upgrade solve this problem? I did all the steps listed here but not the in-place update. The error I see in the Windows update window is "Download error - 0x8024401c" for 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706). Its been logging this error since 3/17/2023

Note that on 2/15 everything seemed fine:

2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022845)

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

2023-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5022497)

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

 

2023-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5031356) Failed to install on ‎16/‎10/‎2023 - 0x800f0922

2023-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5031356)

Failed to install on ‎16/‎10/‎2023 - 0x800f0922

Failed to install on ‎11/‎10/‎2023 - 0x800f0922

This keeps on failing, rolling back and then trying to install again (stuck in loop)

I have tried disabling anti virus software and firewall but still no joy

Gets to 98% and then fails

Please can someone help me?

Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 Failed to install on ‎9/24/‎2023

I recently did a clean install of windows 10 pro which has been fine since 2017. The only issue is installing the feature update 22h2. It goes through the download and install but after the restart it says it failed to install and it starts all over again.

I found a similar issue titled "Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 Failed to install on ‎3/10/‎2023 0x8007001f"

I followed the steps listed in the techs response however, I was unable to rename the folders in step 2 or resolve the issue.

Can you advise please. TIA
