Windows 10: USB 3.0 Ports stop working after computer wakes from sleep

Hello, I'm having an issue that I've seen other users have on here that I haven't seen successfully resolved. Whenever my computer goes to sleep all of my USB ports stop working, if I unplug something and put it into a different USB port it receives power again and I'm able to use it but it becomes annoying to constantly have to do, and I only do this to safely restart my computer which allows me to use my USB devices again. This issue started randomly with no changes done on my part and I've been dealing with it all year, after troubleshooting the steps I've seen on here in other threads I fi

External USb Keyboard stop to work after sleep or replug in the USB port

I made an exaustive test afert following all the first 3 Step suggested.

I made the following test, this time, with 3 different type of USB External Keyboard (KD).

1. Remove the keyboard from USB and reinsert after a while and doesn't work. After thiss operation I nedd to restart PC to see the KB in any USB port.

2. Sleep the PC.

a. REmove the KB from USB and after sleep after restart the Kb doesn't work

b. Sleep pc and after remove the KB, after restart the Kb doesn't work

I tried also before revive the PC try to:

c. Plug the KB before revive the PC

d. Plug the KB after revive the PC

 

Mouse won't wake up computer from sleep.

When my computer goes to sleep, power light is blinking on the computer so perhaps it's deep sleep, moving the USB attached mouse does not wake it up.

This used to work, even with 2004 but somewhere with one of their updates it stopped working. I tried a new mouse, same problem. Any suggestions?

Yes, I've done many Google searches and looked at lots of responses but there really is nothing more than the above as far as a suggested fix.

I've uninstalled the mouse from Device Manager then rebooted, no help.

USB attached keyboard works okay and wakes the computer.

 

USB port stopped working

I had a USB2 port on the front panel that was working for a year but then one day it was not.

I uninstalled / installed the device via Control Panel for both of the USB Composite Device listings but it made no difference. I thought it may be a bad connection but everything looked OK. Both ports had power according to a USB digital voltmeter.

On the motherboard I moved the cable going to the front panel from one of the USB 2.0 Headers to the other Header & everything worked. At least for a couple months. Now the same port on the front panel does not work again.

So I uninstalled / installed both USB Composite Device listings but it made no difference. Under Properties it says they are working properly.

In Control Panel I did not touch the USB controllers for either USB 3.0 listing or for the USB Printing Support.

The port was working a few days ago but now it is not. The only thing that really happened lately was a Windows 10 Security Update that was installed on 10-27-2022. Could that have changed something?

Anything is possible but it seems strange that the same front panel port stopped working no matter which mobo header is used. Could one of my USB thumb drives be going bad & when plugged in is shorting out something on the motherboard?

Any ideas & suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
