  1. USB 3.0 Seagate P9223 (LaCie) drives not recognized on Windows 10

Several USB 3.0 Seagate (LaCie) drives are not recognized on Windows 10. Once the drive gets connected it is blinking for 20-30 sec. and then goes to sleep. This happens on different Notebooks and on a Desktop - all Win10. This happens regardless if I use powered/non-powered USB on Notebook or mother board USB or front USB on Desktop. The drive never shows up on Drive management and I have no drive letter issue either as the drive never loads at all.

I used the same drive(s) and cable on a windows 7 PC and it gets recognized immediately. This is valid for al drives of this model. So I assume it is neither the drive nor the cable causing the problem. It must be something related to Windows 10 managing these drives.

They all worked and still work on Windows 7 but not on WIN10. They do work and get mounted on a Router USB port but not on a Windows 10 system USB 2.0 or 3.0 port.

Seagate support said they do not provide or create any drivers but use OS drivers provided by Microsoft. As the drive seems not to be defective - it starts and works under Win7- they referred me to Microsoft......

Before opening that can of worms I thought someone would know an alternative solution on how to connect the Seagate P9223 USB3.0 drives to Windows 10 systems directly.

    :)

3TB USB 3 drive fails after August windows 10 update.

My LaCie (Seagate) minumus 3TB USB 3 external drive no longer works after the August Windows 10 update. It gets "drive not accessible. Parameter is incorrect". It works fine in a USB 2 port and a 1TB Samsung drive still works in the USB 3 port. The LaCie
worked fine before the update, once I had downloaded a LaCie firmware update. Any suggestions please? Uninstalling external drivers in the Universal serial bus controller and re-booting fails to fix it.
