My laptop came with no OS and I installed 11 but I had no good experience in it and I clean installed windows 10.
So theres a USB port , which is usb 3.2 And when Installing windows 10 The usb 3.2 port works in UEFI , but when entering windows 10 it stops working simply The version of the port: USB 3.2 Gen1 (every other thing works on windows 10 what worked on windows 11 except the usb 3.2 port) issue more detailed: usb 3.2 gen1 port not working, whatever you plug in when you are in windows 10, but it works in UEFI Is I I need a fix for it or else I will have to switch to linux first time.

I tried the following already:
I already tried exporting drivers from windows 11 to windows 10, didnt work.
tried reinstalling
I already hard reseted one time
have latest drivers installed
have latest Firmware , UEFI updates
I already contacted the author of the device and dont know why that happens
tried deleting USB hubs from device manager and restarting computer (so it auto refresh)

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Since all the USB ports are working and the problem is with the USB 3.0 port in the right side of the laptop, then this issue is with that particular port.

You can contact the manufacture of the laptop to get it done.

As a workaround, I suggest you to Run Hardware troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow these steps to run hardware troubleshooter.

• Type troubleshooting
  in search box.
• Select view all on the top left pane.
• Click on Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter and follow the prompts to
  run the troubleshooter.

USB 3.1 drive not recognised only on Front USB 3 ports but other devices are and works on back USB3 ports!

Hi, suddenly since today 29 July 2018 my Apacer USB 3.1 Gen1 HDD drive is not recognised on the front USB 3 ports although other devices are and it is seen on the back USB 3 ports.

It was working fine before and its just weird that all other USB devices are seen on the USB 3 ports except that specific device, but yet that specific device are seen on any USB 2 ports and back USB 3 ports.

Motherboard is a ASROCK Z370 Taichi running a Intel I7 8700 chip on Win 10 Pro fully updated.
