    USB and MicroSD documents/pictures auto load as display wallpaper.


    Somehow, sometime I accidentally changed something somewhere so that USB and MicroSD documents & pics load as wallpaper backgrounds when I try to open them on my laptop. I've tried several fixes like disabling autorun in the Group Policy Editor from Googled sites, and I'm sure I follow the directions correctly, but no help. I've run Bleachbit and CCleaner and restarted my laptop, no help. I'm running Win10PRo on a Dell laptop. HELP!

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Converting a picture as wallpaper

    I use PC Suite version 6.81.13 and my phone is a 6230i. I connect the phone from my PC (Windows XP Service Pack 2) using a USB DKU 3 cable.

    On a previous version of PC suite there was a program for converting a picture on the PC to use as wallpaper on the phone. This was a step by step program which adjusted sizes etc. Great for sticking photos of grandchildren on your phone as wallpaper USB and MicroSD documents/pictures auto load as display wallpaper. :)

    I have tried to find the equivalent on version 6.81.13 but have failed. Has it been removed or is granddad having yet another "senior moment".

    Can somebody please point me in the direction so I can convert a picture on my PC to wallpaper on my Nokia 6230i.

    Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

    Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

    • I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.


    • Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.
    That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

    Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.
