Windows 10: USB attached SCSI uas mass storage device Showing error, and can't connect external drives

Good day to everyone!Everything was OK until I installed the last Windows 11 update and two external SSD hard drives stopped working. Inside the Device Manager, the USB attached SCSI uas mass storage device has an error sign. I tried updating the driver but it says it's updated. I managed to solve the issue, but only for one time, both disabling and uninstalling device, and each time I had to restart my Laptop. I would like to have a long term solution, because each time I unplug the hard drive, I cannot plug it in again. Thank you very much for your help.

I just checked an older Seagate 4TB USB 3.0 drive, and it is also showing the "USB Attached SCSI (UAS) Mass Storage Device"...

hi there,

i have an external segate USB 3.0 hard drive.

when i am connecting it to my PC (either to a usb 3/regular port) for some reason it is recognized as a "USB Attached SCSI (UAS) Mass Storage Device"

I installed of course all of my drivers including the chipset.

here is screenshot from device manager;





i read on some post that i should try to right-click "USB Attached SCSI (UAS) Mass Storage Device" -> Update driver -> Browse my... -> Let me.. -> and then choose from the list "mass storage device".

unfortunately i don't have that option.







-i tried to uncheck the "Show compatible hardware" still no other options..

any idea why?
