  1. USB-C connected Monitor become inactive after HDR is turned on in Windows 10

This very similar question has actually been asked here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/monitor-not-active-after-turning-on-hdr/11e5b83b-783c-4207-ab37-dd5fa2e192e8, however the answer with a whole bunch of links didn't help.I have one HP laptop connecting to the two monitors below:LG ULTRAFINE which supports HDR - connect using USB-C to USB-CLG monitor which does not support HDR - connect using USB-C to HDMIThe laptop itself also does not support HDR.Both monitors connected as extended, not duplicated, all was working fine. Then today In windows 10 display settings,

  2. No option to turn off HDR!!!!!!

Thanks again for trying to help me. See the thing is the monitor is HDR capable. The monitor was 100% working before HDR mode was turned on through Windows. Windows 10 offered me the option to turn HDR mode on for this monitor. I have 3 monitors (the laptop screen, another monitor connected through a USB to HDMI connector, and this monitor connect right to the laptop by hdmi). Then I turned on HDR mode for the monitor connected directly to the HDMI port and that caused the issue. Why would Windows give me the option to turn on HDR mode if the monitor wasn't compatible. It doesn't offer it for the other monitor I have that isn't compatible.

The real problem here is that I should be able to turn off HDR mode and Windows is not allowing that, as you can see in the one picture. There is no option to turn it back off.

    Any other options?

Haunted by "HDR-ready display detected" Notifications (Win11)

So, it seems clearing the registry keys eventually didn't help, as the notifications returned.

Here is the detailed information you requested:

    1. The laptop is a Lenovo Yoga 730-15IWL. It's powered by an Intel Core i7-8565U processor, which has an on-chip Intel UHD Graphics GPU. Onboard the laptop there's also a support GPU (Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 mobile), but it's not physically connected to any monitor - the monitors (internal and external) are exclusively driven by the Intel GPU. Also, I haven't been doing any 3D work recently, and I never game, so the support GPU is supposed to remain inactive.
    2. The monitor is a Dell U3223QE. I can turn off HDR on it, but the monitor is also connected to another desktop PC which does support HDR, and I therefore keep HDR on for when I work with the desktop. While I can theoretically turn HDR on and off as I switch between the systems, it would also be a hassle - I'm wondering whether this is a bigger hassle than suffering the notifications.
    3. I'm connected to the laptop via USB-C, using the cable bundled with the monitor for that purpose.

USB-C connected Monitor become inactive after HDR is turned on in Windows 10

HDR on HDR monitor causes issue on secondary, non-HDR monitor

I have an Aorus AD27QD (HDR) monitor as my primary display and an ultrawide 34UM88-P (Non-HDR) as my secondary. If HDR is enabled in windows and I go to a full screen video on the non-HDR monitor after a few seconds it will flicker blue then become severely
washed out. Coming out of full screen fixes this. If HDR is not enabled full screen shows the colors perfectly normally.

Secondarily, with windows HDR on on the Aorus, the colors dim pretty drastically. HDR content great but anything that isnt HDR is dim enough to make me question if my brightness is turned down. (Its not, its 90/100). The white of a plain browser window
seems so dim its nearly grey. I also tested this on what I know is a particularly vibrant (non-HDR) . HDR on? Terrible and muted. HDR off? Bright and vibrant.

I have played with in-monitor settings, nvidia control panel, factory reset of monitor, basically everything I can think of. Everything points to it being a windows issue.

I also tried out the suggestions from this post. And it pointed me to this
    set of OS release notes
which didnt solve my issue either.

I could really use some help because I am really feeling like I wasted my money on this monitor.

    PC:

    i5 7600k

    GTX 1080ti

    16GB 3000Hz Corsair RAM

Windows, CPU and GPU on latest drivers available.

    Monitors:

    LG 34UM88-P (HDMI)

    Aorus AD27QD (DisplayPort)
