Windows 10: USB-C connector device not working for HDMI extension.

I recently bought a USB-C HDMI connector. The device is working fine with USB ports but the HDMI connections made in the device is not connected. It works fine in another computer. When I checked in the device manager, network adapters 'ASIX AX88179A USB 3.2 Gen I to Gigabite ethernet adapter #2' shows a device status error showing error -This device cannot start. Code 10. Also there is an unresponsive universal serial bus controller having port reset failure. What is the solution this issue. I want to extend my screen to another two screens using this device.

USB-c to hdmi adapter doesn’t work

It should if you have USB-C, but even then these adapters are not that reliable - nowhere near as good as using an HDMI or Display Port cable.
