• the particular url u provide is for a usb charging cable
• though u have got an usb charger cable it is not possible to get each and every phone charge by the cable.
• the particular phone must have provision for usb charging, in other words the device should have been calibrated for usb charging.
• examples. Nokia E75 has the provision for usb charging but X6 dosen' have that provision.

N82 battery not charging over CA-101 USB cable

I can 100% confirm that the N82 cannot be charged by USB. It does not have that feature. The USB port isn't wired into the charging circuit.

It is just poor wording. They should state that the cable is compatible as a data cable on the models listed and clearly highlight which models can be charged by it.
