Windows 10: USB Composite Device for Logitech Wireless Mouse the file is missing or corrupt with a Code 39.

My Logitech wireless mouse M325 suddenly stopped working and I tried uninstalling it in Device Manager and restarting, but keep getting the message that the file is missing or corrupt Code 39. I looked online and tried everything but nothing works. I keep getting a device error message. Is there anyway to resolve it? I know there is nothing wrong with the wireless mouse as I can plug it into another computer and it works. Does anyone know a simple way to fix this without me having to reinstall Windows?

• Do you get same error codes in the Device manager too?
• Does this issue occurs in other hardware components like keyboard and mouse?
• What is the make and model of your computer?
• Do you get same error when you connect your extenal hard drive to a different computer running Windows 10?

Logitech Wireless Mouse

• Outdated device driver
• No device driver installed
• Faulty wireless mouse receiver

• Have you tried using using your wireless mouse on other computer and checked if the issue persists?
• Have you tried updating your wireless mouse driver?

Code 39 error for Imaging Devices

The Event Logs indicate that there may have been a previous Logitech camera installed.

Did you have a Logitech camera installed and did it too give the "Code 39" ?

Also, for the device presently giving the "Code 39" can you confirm the Class GUID for the device:

In the Device Manager right-click the device giving the "Code 39" > Properties > Details, then choose "Class GUID" from the drop-down menu under "Property".

What is listed under "Value"?
