Windows 10: USB connected has malfunctioned. Any way to fix this?

Discus and support USB connected has malfunctioned. Any way to fix this? in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; PC doesn't recognize the device; tried all USB ports and also tried the uninstall feature for USB driver and still no progress.     USB connected has malfunctioned. Any way to fix this?


    PC doesn't recognize the device; tried all USB ports and also tried the uninstall feature for USB driver and still no progress. Any other options? All other connected devices work normally.

    USB Device Not Recognized (Malfunctioned)

    Doubt it, MalwareBytes came out clean.

    I've tried resetting the BIOS so many times, I'll check to see if the drive shows up in the BIOS in one moment.

    You know what, I connected the front header to the 1394 thing until I double checked last night and fixed it. That wasn't before I connected one thumb drive to the front USB port though... NLOGKJSHFVBSKF

    The second one isn't working either and I'm 100% positive I didn't connect that one to any port until after I fixed the header.

    USB Malfunction

    I have Windows 7 64 bit on my ASUS laptop and am having problems with the USB for my ddr mat.

    USB headset, mouse, keyboard all work. The DDR mat driver installs and works on other computers and laptops but on my laptop it gives me a driver not found, USB has malfunctioned/damaged. I have tried it in all of the different USB ports on the laptop, nothing works.

    Any ideas?

    I have a musical midi.When plugged into a usb I get a message that says the last usb device connected has malfunctioned and can not be recognized.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling that usb but still get the same message.
