Windows 10: USB device not recognized, unknown USB device port reset failed but everything is working...

Two days ago, I spilled water on my laptop. I got it repaired yesterday and everything is working fine except for a constant reoccurring "USB device not recognized" notification even though nothing is plugged in both my USB ports.I didn't think much of it since both USB ports are able to recognize my mouse and a USB drive. Then I turned off notifications for USB device problems.It was later when I plugged my Wacom tablet that I realized there's something wrong. The battery indicator on my Wacom is on which means it actually IS connected, but the tablet isn't recognized by my laptop. I tried

Hi Jhakesong, I've tried the suggestions you've given, but unfortunately, I've had no success with it.

I opened device manager again and uninstalled the 3 USB Root Hubs I have and restarted my computer. The drivers upon bootup have been reinstalled but the same two ports fail to recognize any device inputted. Unknown USB Device (Port Reset Failed) is still present and it appears as though this method did not work. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

Hello, a few months ago a USB port on my lenovo laptop became unable to recognize any device that would be entered. I normally use my USB ports for peripherals such as mouse and keyboard. Checking my device manager shows Unknown USB Device (Port Reset Failed). Following some guides on the internet, I've tried restarting my laptop, updating drivers, and reinstalling drivers. Nothing has worked so far, so I ended up using another USB port on my device that was able to recognize my mouse. Fast forward up to now a second USB port now has the same issue of Unkown USB Device (Port Reset Failed). Is there anything I can do? Thanks.
