Windows 10: USB Devices KB, Mouse Cut Out Input But Still Recieve Power

Randomly, my mouse and keyboard have just been ceasing all input for seemingly no reason at all. It persists even when unplugging and trying other slots, the lights turn on and my keyboard and mouse play their animations, but I cannot control my computer using them. I can control it while they are disabled with a third-party remote desktop software, however. Also, sometimes I hear the disconnect sound, which I assume to be either my keyboard or mouse, but I do not notice anything actually disconnecting, even though there is never a reconnect noise. USB mouse registering as usb input device and mouse wont move

It is possible that this is a mouse driver or USB port issue. To properly isolate this issue, kindly answer the queries below:

• Have you tried using other USB ports?
• Have you tried reinstalling the mouse device driver?
• Have you tested the mouse device to other computer?

No USB ports recieve power when windows Starts no ps2 ports available

I have this Acer aspire xc-603 desktop that when i turn on i can use the mouse and keyboard in the bios and bootable usb just fine so i suspect that it is a faulty driver or a power setting in windows that cuts power to the usb ports.

When the machine starts loading windows the num lock light on the keyboard goes off and then light on the mouse aswell.

Troubleshooting steps taken

• Safe Mode (With and without networking)
  
• Restore Points none of them were sucessful
  
• sfc scan & Chkdsk in cmd
  
• tried all usb ports (3.0 & 2.0)
  
• reset bios
  

I'm trying to avoid reinstalling windows as the user dosn't know their microsoft account for office.

 

USB 2.0 INPUT SUDDENLY WILL NOT WORK WITH USB 3.0
