  1. USB driver device is not working on USB 3.2 on windows 11 but works fine on USB 2.0.

I have a new windows 11 machine and a biometric capturing USB device. USB device works fine on the USB 2.0 port of the machine, but same device is failing on the USB 3.0 port on the same machine. We have checked following things: 1. Core Isolation setting flag is turned off. 2. USB 3.2 ports are enabled in BIOS. 3. Devices are being shown correctly in Device Manager. Kindly provide guidance to troubleshoot the issue.

    :)

  2. USB 2 and USB 3 Storage devices not working after WIndows 10 Upgrade

Hi my USB (USB 2 and USB 3 ) Storage devices are not working after I upgraded to windows 10 . It used to work before but looks like some of the upgrades patches spoilt it.

when I plug in USB 2 or USB 3 device, I do get a sound, but this new drive doesn't appear on File Manager. So I can't recognize it and use it.

    I tried various thinkgs like

    1) uninstalling all USB drives and then restarting the computer to pick up the latest one.

    2) checking hardware version of the drivers - etc

They are latest drivers - but still doesn';t work. I connect a USB 3 storage device - and the device is not recognized.

All other USB devices - like keyboard and mouse seems to be working as expected.

    Can someone help ?

  3. USB 3.0 is not working

I have tried below all the steps bu my both USB 3.0 are not working.

Please suggest more to add on.

I understand that the USB port is not working. The issue may arise if the currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or corrupt or if your PC requires an update for issues that may conflict with a USB device and Windows. This may also occur if your
USB controllers may have become unstable or corrupt. So, I suggest you to try the following steps and check if the issue persists.

    Method 1:

Remove and reinstall all USB controllers.

Open Device Manager by pressing Windows key + X and select device manager from the list. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
In the list of hardware categories, find and expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
Right-click every device under the Universal Serial Bus controllers node, and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
Restart the computer, and let the USB controllers get reinstalled.
Plug in the removable USB device, and then test to make sure that the issue is resolved.
    Method 2

The issue could be if the drivers are not updated or get corrupted. So, try to install all of the Windows updates available and if issue persists, try to update the drivers by following the steps provided in the article mentioned below.

    Step 1:

Uninstall the Device from Device Manager

Open Device Manger by clicking on Windows key + X and selecting Device manager from the list.
    Expand the USB section.

Select the check box delete the driver software for this device.
Reboot the computer after uninstall process has finished.

  4. USB driver device is not working on USB 3.2 on windows 11 but works fine on USB 2.0.

    USB 2 port not working

I downloaded from hp and reinstalled the Intel chipset drivers, still the USB 2 port doesnt work. The board has the ethernet, USB 2 & 3 ports, and a SDHC port, all work except for the USB 2. I ordered a new board for $8, and will try that, but the solder
connections on the board to the USB 2 port looked fine. This problem initially happened about 2 months after I bought the computer and never went further with it because the 2 USB 3 ports have been able to handle all I need, but now I need another port.
