    USB-Drivers uninstalled and reboot doesn't reinstall them


    I was having weird behaviour with my USB-devices of the disconnecting and reconnecting multiple times per minute.After hours of searching and every thread assuring me that it seems to be a driver issue I went ahead and tried to update those. Windows Update wasn't able to find any new for any of my devices.After trying that multiple threads only recommended uninstalling the Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller and assured me that Windows would be able to reinstall these with a reboot.Since that seemed kinda brute force I reassured myself be finding the exact same recommendation in multiple

    How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

    I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

    Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

    Any suggestions? *Confused USB-Drivers uninstalled and reboot doesn't reinstall them :confused:

    Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.
