Windows 10: USB Drives are displaying wrong Icon

Discus and support USB Drives are displaying wrong Icon in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; Since a quite a while I have an issue with my icons.     USB Drives are displaying wrong Icon


    Since a quite a while I have an issue with my icons. In Windows Explorer, some USB drives will show the icon of my Webcam. Instead of the normal external drive icon.I have already deleted the icon cache files, by following the instructions in a related tread:https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/usb-showing-wrong-icon/034d958c-6cc9-426f-bfe1-ba8da13cb2d7This did however not fix my problem.

    You should not be getting the blank icon, unless it's related to the fact that some of the metadata servers seem to still be down, but i don't think that's the reason. You should be getting the default icon that comes with the OS
