Windows 10: USB Gamepad Device Descriptor Failed Error

Hi, I'm trying to use a ps3 controller on my pc with windows 10 pro version 2004 (build 19041.804) (specs: Xeon e3-1220 v3,16gb ram, quadrok600, 250gb patriot burst ssd, 500gb western digital hd) but its not recognized by windows and says " unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Failed)" in device manager and in properties under device status it says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

A request for the USB device descriptor failed."

Ive tried to change power settings, uninstalled and reinstalled the driver and restarted my pc but its still the same. On the controller itself all 4 lights are on and they're not flashing. I tried to install scp drivers and even xbox 360 drivers for it but it wont work as the controller inst detected by windows as a controller it just says unknown device. I tried my controller on another pc running windows 10 version 1909 and its being recognized as a usb controller and I was able to download the scp drivers to use it. I'm unsure if it just doesn't work with the version of windows I'm using or if I have any other programs or drivers installed on my old pc as I've also put the hard drive from my old pc in my current one and my controller worked fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe it's time to step back from the current efforts, and start over. I suggest you read over this excellent tutorial and try all of its steps: [Solved] Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) for Windows 10 - Driver Easy. The one that may provide you with some easy relief is the one where you uninstall the device whose descriptor is failing, reboot, and see what happens when device enumeration recurs during boot-up. If you're lucky, it will fix itself.

Hi, Today I received a package from Flip*art , and I received an Enter E-GPV USB gamepad,

I tried to install it according to the instructions given in the Manual on the CD provided with the gamepad, But

it only shows, USB device not recognized and While windows was trying to install the drivers on its own, It said, Device Descriptor Request Failed,

Now I tried to search on Google, also searched through other questions, looked up on youtube videos, but nothing could

solve my problem,

Man I also spent for this, and it only just came home today, I am really at my wits end,

will it not work anymore ?
