Windows 10: USB host controller not working

After resetting my hp notebook pc I noticed my USB ports stopped working although whenever I connect it to my phone it still charges my phone but no data transfer option, I've also tried tons of flash drives but none of them came up I also went as far as upgrading to windows 11 still yet same reason I've watched countless videos on YouTube and used lots of methods but it still won't work.... please I really need help on this issue.

Thank you for the information. If rolling back is not possible, then try updating the driver and see if it will work. Follow these steps on how to update the driver:

• Open Device Manager.
• Look for Universal Serial Bus controllers and click it to expand.
• Select the driver, which in your case is the USB x HCI Compliant Host Controller,then right-click on it and select Properties.
• Under Driver tab, click the Update Driver
  button to update the driver.

Once updated, try if the USB ports will now work properly.

Unfortunately that doesn't work. I always get the message that I have the most recent update installed.

 

"USB x HCI Compliant Host Controller" not working

No other devices are listed under Universal Serial Bus controllers. Only USB x HCI Compliant Host Controller is listed with a yellow exclamation mark

Under Device Status General it says:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}

The requested operation was unsuccessful.
