Windows 10: USB Hub randomly disconnecting

so i was using my mouse and keypad normally until i heard them disconnecting and i have no idea whythere was no physical damage to the ports and everytime i reconnect my usb hub it will work for a few moments then just disconnect again. my laptop have 3 usb ports but 2 of them suddenly died so i have to use the last one with a usb hub. before that happened the usb hub has no problem, i didn't have any windows update that time aswell.I checked my device manager after the disconnection and there was no errors there

USB-C hub keeps disconnecting

If you have some additional hardware, you might be able to perform a process of elimination: 1) Connect another hub. If that hub does not have the same difficulties, then the issue is likely with the hub or a compatibility issue between that hub and your system. 2) As an alternative, try connecting that hub to another PC. If the problem also occurs on that other PC, it is likely the hub that is at fault. 3) Another step that you could try would be to take a look at the event viewer and see if there are any messages that provide information as to why the disconnect is happening. 4) Also, is it only this USB-C hub that has this difficulty? Do any other USB devices have difficulties on this same machine.?

Incompatible USB hub driver is one of the possible reasons why this issue is happening. We recommend uninstalling the USB Root Hub driver and see if it helps. Follow the stepes below:

• Open Device Manager.
  
• Double-click Universal Serial Bus controllers to expand.
  
• Right-click USB Root Hub, then click Properties.
  
• Go to the Driver tab.
  
• Click Uninstall.
  
• Restart your computer.
  

Note: Restarting your computer will automatically reinstall a generic driver for your computer. Also, we suggest connecting your USB hub while performing the steps.

If the issue still persists, let's disable the USB selective suspend settings thru Power Options to resolve the issue. Follow the steps below:

• Type Power Options in the search box, then press Enter.
• Locate USB settings > USB selective suspend settings.
• Select Disable.

USB Hub

When you first plugged in the HUB, did Windows make any indication that it was installing the device? Open the Device Manager, connect or disconnect the USB HUB and check if the list of devices is refreshed.
