Windows 10: USB Hubs Randomly Shutting Down?!

Hello first of all happy 2019 to all

I have very annoying problems for few months since the newest updates came along its driving me nuts.

I have this usb hub listed below its working fine 0 problems before updates and on all other pcs laptops that i tested but here on my pc with current version windows 10 64 pro its shuting down randomly some time its fine just to replug usbs out and it and its working again sometime like today 5min ago i had to restart my pc because usb hub did not wake up at all after restaring pc it was fine again is this a bug ? If it is please fix it. I have same usb hubs on my laptop 2 of connected same time on windows 7 there 0 problems so far. And my windows 10 here is updated with latest updates etc. Your solutions on forums did not help still going off and on at least not all the time but just when you need it most xd So after trying everything else im writting here for any info

Hi,

Incompatible USB hub driver is one of the possible reasons why this issue is happening. We recommend uninstalling the USB Root Hub driver and see if it helps. Follow the stepes below:

• Open Device Manager.
  
• Double-click Universal Serial Bus controllers to expand.
  
• Right-click USB Root Hub, then click Properties.
  
• Go to the Driver tab.
  
• Click Uninstall.
  
• Restart your computer.
  

Note: Restarting your computer will automatically reinstall a generic driver for your computer. Also, we suggest connecting your USB hub while performing the steps.

If the issue still persists, let's disable the USB selective suspend settings thru Power Options to resolve the issue. Follow the steps below:

• Type Power Options in the search box, then press Enter.
• Locate USB settings > USB selective suspend settings.
• Select Disable.

USB Powered HUB

Hey guys im looking for a USB Powered HUB to use on my magic jack becuase I have been having problems where the magic jack shuts of randomly. It will work for a while then shut down and I knew right away that it must be a power issue becuase your taking 12v and uping it to 54v anyway i want to get one thats good and is not super expensive. Thanks!

 

USB Hub

Hub is on-line when re-installing drivers, then when PC is shut-down and next time it's started up again USB hub has gone again until drivers are installed again .

This does not happen with the early version of Win 10 i have on another drive , its only after that feature update that this fault happened
