Windows 10: USB in computer not working

Hello.

I have a weird problem. I have 3 USB ports in my computer and they work just fine but when I want to format or burn an ISO on them none do. It gives me errors and corrupts the USB. Also it does so when I try to make a bootable USB with the media creation tool. But it does not happen this in another computer with the same USA after I recover them. Is there a solution?

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it

 

MY USB PORTS ARENT WORKING

I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Uninstall the device drivers from program list and then download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website and check the status of this issue.

Step 1:

Uninstall the Device from Device Manager

• 
  Open Device Manger
  by clicking on Windows key + X and selecting Device manager
  from the list.
  
• 
  Expand the USB
  section.
  
• 
  Find the USB device.
  
• 
  Right click USB
  and select Uninstall.
  
• 
  Select the check box
  delete the driver software for this device.
  
• Reboot the computer after uninstall process has finished.

Step 2:

Uninstall the Device Drivers from Program List in Control Panel

  Click on start, select Control Panel
  
• 
  Now click on Programs and select Programs and Features.
  
• 
  Find the USB.
  
• 
  Right click USB driver
  and select Uninstall.
  
• Reboot the computer after the uninstall process has finished.

Step 3:

Download and install the latest drivers for the USB from the manufacturer website

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
