    I've just built a new computer, and I'm trying to install windows 10 on it.I've created a USB windows installer from laptop,I can successfully boot to the USB drive but it does not start windows setup, only shows a blank, black screen, with a windows logo.Below are the system specifications:AMD Ryzen 5 5600x32GB 3200MHz Tforce VulcanZ ramGigabyte Aorus Pro ax b550 motherboardGigabyte Gaming OC RTX 3070tiAnd the laptop I made the windows instillation media from is an Intel model, if that matters :

    Installation media boots to command prompt

    I've just booted from known working install media to see exactly what it does when booting. The sequence of events is...

    1. Windows logo on a black screen
    2. circling dots appear beneath the logo
    3. light blue 'Please wait' screen with circling dots
    4. a command prompt window (very briefly)
    5. the initial Setup page appears

    Do you see steps 1-3? If so, it appears you have stopped at step 4, suggesting that something on the disc cannot be read.

    Does the disc boot properly in another machine? If so, try cleaning the laptop's drive lens then try booting from the disc again.

    If not, make new install media with Microsoft's Media Creation Tool, either as a bootable USB, on an ISO that you can burn to another disc. At Step 8 in Option One of this tutorial you can choose between making a USB or an ISO.

    After setting boot options to (legacy on) I booted from usb hard disk, as well as the (uefi) version. Both went unsuccessful. The legacy option brought up the blue windows logo as it has before, but instead of being
    followed by a popup with dialogue for installing windows, i recieve a blank black screen. With the UEFI version, I get the "Acer" logo with the loading circle as if it is booting up but nothing happens and it remains loading.
