Windows 10: USB is unable to reformat or fix because of the error "this device is not ready

My USB stopped working for two reasons, either because I took it out without the precautions such as using the eject function, or because of a virus I accidently downloaded on my computer, nevertheless, it doesn't work. The computer recognises the USB in File explorer, however when I try to access it, a error appears that states i have to insert a disc. There is no volume, so I have tried to add a volume on disk manager, but it says the same thing, I have also tried to clean it in command with the following DISKPARTlist diskselect disk 1cleancreate partition primaryWhich gives me the 'the devi

USB not showing up - 'The device is not ready'

I was trying to reformat a USB to NTFS, but the progess was interrupted when someone who didn't know formatting was happening physically removed it. When I tried to plug it back in, it didn't appear in my computer. It shows in Disk Management, but 'Disk
1, Unknown' and is not initialized. When I try to initialize, it says 'The device is not ready'.

I have tried:

• Uninstalling the driver and restarting to Windows reaquires it.
• Using cmd with the following:
  • DISKPART
  • list disk
  • select disk 1
  • clean
  • create partition primary
  Which gives me the 'the device is not ready' error message.
  

Any input is very appreciated.

The error 'The device is not ready' is caused by an empty or not formatted drive, or that the USB device has experienced a hardware failure. For us to isolate the issue about using your USB device, kindly respond to the questions below:

• Does the issue persist when you connect a different USB to the same USB slot?
• Are you able to access the drive when you connect it another computer?
• Have you tried formatting the drive once more?
• When the drive is connected to your computer, are you able to see it in
  Device Manager? If yes, kindly check the Device status of the device when you right-click it and select
  Properties and post back the status.

USB composite device "driver error"

Can you send us a screenshot of the error message? We suggest uninstalling and re-installing USB drivers and check if the issue persists. To do that, please follow these steps:

• Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager.
  
• Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
• Right-click on the first USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers, and then click on
  Uninstall to remove it.
• Repeat these steps for the entire USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers.
• Restart the computer. Windows will automatically scan for hardware changes and reinstall all the USB controllers that you uninstalled.
