  1. Usb Key ReInstall fail (Two of them)

    Hello everyone,

I got this Dell Inspiron 8965 that I bought new in 2017.

Came with windows 10. Like Everytime I got a new computer with windows 10. I make two USB drives from differents company (Verbatim and SanDisk)that I store at two different place (Office and Home).

For various reasons, I need to reinstall windows 10 on this. I try my first USB key. Got one error at the end of install. Error was like. "Windows install not completed du to error" So I ask a special permission to go to the Office (virus life) I got my other drive and I also got the same error.

Obviously, like it's a Dell Computer without any sticker with the windows key.

Now, I installing Windows 10 from the ISO that I burn on a DVD. But it's asking for the key. Any idea how I can get it back ? Is it writen anywhere on the usbdrive ?

I not looking for a pirate key, I just want mine !

    Thank You every one!

  3. Taskbar bug: switching to another window -will not appear at the front

Follow either of these steps to fix the issue with the Active window hiding behind.

    Method 1:
I suggest you to disable window by hovering over it with the mouse and check if it helps. To do so I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it helps:

    1. Press Windows key + X key and click on Control Panel.
    2. Select or click Ease of Access.
    3. Click or tap onEase of Access Centre.
    4. Click on Make the Mouse Easier to Use was uncheck Activate Window by hovering over it with the mouse.
    5. Check if issue is resolved.
    Method 2:
I would suggest you to completely uninstall the touchpad driver and reinstall it. Kindly follow the below given steps.

    1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
    2. In the list of devices, you should see the touchpad drivers.
    3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
    4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
    5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.

Usb Key ReInstall fail (Two of them)

    USB ports failed

    Hi,

To fully isolate where this problem is coming from, please answer the following:

    • Have you tried connecting the peripheral devices to another computer to check if they will function?
    • How old is the laptop?

You can find additional things to try to fix USB port problems on this
    page.

We also suggest you run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter
in Windows 10. Here are the steps:

    • Press the Windows key on your keyboard.
    • Type Troubleshooting then press Enter.
    • On the left side, click View all.
    • Select Hardware and Devices.
    • Click Next and see if it will find any problems.

Keep us updated about the issue.
