Windows 10: USB keyboard 'palm-sized' transmtter lost, any hope?

Lost or misplaced the transmitter for my older spare keyboard. The keyboard is a Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 4000. Model 1045. The transmitter on my PRIMARY keyboard also an older 4000, but model is labeled as a # 1027 Photo' keyboard is not one of the tiny USB transmitters, rather, it is an oval 3" x 5" palm-sized device with USB fitting on the end. labeled "Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Receiver 3.0, model 1012.Does anyone know where I can buy a transmitter for the model 1045? And, are they universal fit?Thank-you, &

USB keyboard disconnects when holding any button down

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps:

• The USB connection may be loose. Try unplugging the keyboard, and then plugging it back in.
• Plug the keyboard into a different USB port.
• If your keyboard is plugged into a USB hub or USB switch box, try removing it and plugging the keyboard into the computer.
• Unplug other USB devices that are not in use.
• Try the keyboard on another computer to verify it is working correctly

Method 2: Also I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the usb keyboard drivers as below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows+X and go to device manager.
• Then expand keyboards and right click on the driver.
• Then click on uninstall and restart the computer.
• It will be reinstalled automatically and check if it helps.

Change size of virtual keyboard keys (Ease of Access)

To increase the size of the On-screen keyboard, follow the steps below:

• Open on-screen keyboard.
• Place the mouse cursor to the edges of the keyboard window.
• It will change the cursor symbol to double arrow.
• Click and drag the mouse to resize the keyboard window.

• Select "System".
• You can change the font size here.

Follow the steps to go to Control Panel:

• Type "Control Panel" in the search bar.
