  1. USB lag when using fullscreen or sharing screen

Hi. I've a weird issue. Everytime I open a game in fullscreen or a I start sharing the screen using Microsoft Teams or Discord, all my periphereals start lagging. All these periphereals are from Logitech G and are connected to the back of the motherboard, which is an Asus Rog b550-e. I wanted to be sure that this was a software/driver problem and not a problem of the motherboard. If the motherboard's usbs weres damaged they wouldnt work at all right?

If that's the case, I already uninstalled the logitech gaming software. I couldn't uninstall the keyboard and the mouse drivers because I didn't find them in the manage devices panel. Could VMWare or Norton cause the issue?

    :)

  2. Can Fullscreen optimization cause input lag?

I've heard some games like Overwatch and CSGO can have some lag input when fullscreen optimization is enabled. Can you tell me what Fullscreen optimization actually does?

  4. USB lag when using fullscreen or sharing screen

Screen lag when entering fullscreen or using Game Bar

    Hi Patrick Taylor,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

In order to get clarity on this issue and assist you with appropriate troubleshooting steps, please reply with the answers to the questions below.

    1. Are you aware of any changes made to this computer prior to the issue?
    2. What is the make and model number of your computer?
    3. What is the version of your Windows 10 computer? (To check the version of your Windows 10, you can refer
See which version of Windows 10 you have).
    4. In which application are you playing the video in full screen?

Meanwhile, I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if the issue persists.

    Method 1:
    Setting The Recommended Display Resolution.

    1. Right-click on an empty area on your desktop and click on
      Display Settings.
    2. Under Change the size of text, apps, and other items: 100% (Recommended), make sure the display fonts are set to
      100%.
    3. Click on Advanced Display Settings and make sure that the
Resolution is set to the Recommended.
    4. Click on Apply > Restart the computer once and check for the issue.

If the settings are set to recommend or if the screen lag persists after changing the settings to recommended, then follow
    Method 2.

    Method 2:
    Updating Graphics Card Drivers.

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned in
    Update drivers in Windows 10
and update the graphics drivers of your computer.

Restart the computer once after updating the graphics card drivers and check if the screen lag persists and if the issue persists, then follow
    Method 3.

    Method 3:
    Performing A Clean Boot.

I suggest you to put your computer in a
    Clean Boot State
and then check the screen lag issue in the full screen.

Note: A Clean Boot starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program. Your computer may
temporarily lose some functionality while in a clean boot environment, however, that functionality will return when you reset the computer to start normally after you have finished your troubleshooting.

To determine what is causing the problem after you do a clean boot, please refer to the section
How to determine what is causing the problem after you do a clean boot from the above Clean Boot article.

If the Clean Boot works, then don't forget to place the computer to normal boot by going to
Reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting section in the Clean Boot link.

If you have additional questions, or if the issue persists after performing the above troubleshooting steps, please let me know by replying to this thread. This way, I'll get notified and respond back to you as soon as I can.
