    USB microphone - no adjustments


    Hello everyone!

    So I just bought a new USB microphone and plugged it in my PC in one of the motherboard connectors, and it shows up as a 'USB PnP sound device'. That's fine, except I have no controll over the input sensitivity slider as it does absolutely nothing regarding the microphone... I can have the slider set to 0 and it still has the same amount of volume coming through. As it is a USB mic it doesn't have the boost slider in the settings... I did find some workarounds, but no fixes! Because I can't set my microphone sensitivity, it's pointless to boost the volume with 3rd party software as it'll have really bad quality!

    I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue!

    Problem with microphone adjust.


    When iam using microphone and speaking the volume of the microphone being lower.
    1.I've removed auto-adjust from skype.
    2.I have the latest version of realtek audio.
    3.I have the latest driver version of my microphone.
    4.Selected "Do nothing" at "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Sound".
    5.And also this

    still auto adjusting the microphone and no one can hear me good.
    How can i unadjust the microphone?

    Hi,

    This issue could have happened due to settings of your Microphone. To resolve your issue, we suggest that you check your Microphone is not disabled and set as default. You can follow these steps to check your microphone settings:

    • Right click on the volume icon and select “Recording devices”.
    • Now, right click on an empty space and select, “Show disconnected devices” and “Show disabled devices”.
    • Select “Microphone” and click on “Properties” and make sure that the microphone is enabled.
    • You may also check if the microphone that you are using is set as default.

    Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.

    Microphone problem Windows (8/10)

    Hi,

    To resolve your microphone issue, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

    • Click Windows + S then type Speech Recognition on the search bar.
    • Click Set up microphone and follow the Microphone setup wizard.
    • When you reach Adjust the microphone volume, please note if the volume bar moves from yellow to red.
    • Once the Setup wizard is complete, we can check if the microphone works properly. We can eliminate hardware problem from the possible causes of the issue. Please check to if the issue persists in the Third-party software.
