Windows 10: USB Modem GPS location correct but my Windows 11 is not. What can be the issue?

I have a Inseego USB modem and a MiFi modem. When I log into the 192.168.1.1 site the GPS is turned on and it provides accurate coordinates. However, when using windows 11 maps and windows location services the correct GPS location does not appear, it’s not even close. What can cause the correct location to not translate into the computer? The location services settings are correct. This issue is consistent with my Getac F110 Tablet and Panasonic Toughbook, both with Windows 11. Furthermore, the Getac tablet has a SIM slot so I added the SIM from both modems. It recognizes it as a Verizon

We understand how difficult it could be. However, we would need some more information regarding the issue.

1. Do you see network signals showing as connected in the taskbar?
   
2. May I know the model of the Vodafone modem you are using?
   

Please refer to
Mobile Broadband Software for Windows 10 for the list of modem models which support Windows 10. We would suggest you to download the software utility from the article and check if it resolves the issue.



We would also suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to check for the drivers for modem.

1. Connect the USB modem.
   
2. Open Device Manager by searching for it in search bar.
   
3. Locate and expand Universal serial bus Controllers in the list.
   
4. Check if the driver are displayed under the tree.

Correct Directory Location For Pictures Folder

"Now Documents, Videos etc say file location is This PC. But Pictures file location is C:\Users\PeteyBoPetey\Pictures."

If we understand you correctly, the issue is that Pictures doesn't appear in the left panel under This PC. The correct location IS C:\Users\PeteyBoPetey\Pictures. This is only an issue of using Step 8 in the tutorial to add it back to the list. See if this screenshot is what you want to achieve- put Pictures folder back in list on L.
