Windows 10: usb name not changing

Hello there so i have an usb which is changed the name so on disk management or other disk tools it is labled as the correct name i set but on file explorer it says just USB Driver driver letter also idk if any relation but it had an whole eco system of malware thanks to my father colleague his laptop is infected but thats not my problem just mentioning if the malware has any role but as far as i am aware i cleaned the malware on the usb i formatted it,ran file system and ran virus scan not third party but i am planning to windows defender kinda gets buggy sometimes better to be safe so i

We appreciate you getting back to us. To change the cmd name, we suggest that you follow this steps:

• Open a Command Prompt (Adimin) window: Win+X, A, Alt+Y
• Then run the following command to change your computer name to Donner: WMIC ComputerSystem where Name=COMPUTER-NAME call Rename Name=NewName
• Reboot your PC.
• Try to run ipconfig / all command, you should find that the Host Name in Windows IP Configuration list has been changed to the new name.
