Windows 10: usb not recognised, was before now not working

Discus and support usb not recognised, was before now not working in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; My usb lead i use to connect my xbox controller to my pc has stopped working, saying its unrecognised, i have tried updating and uninstalling but...     usb not recognised, was before now not working


    My usb lead i use to connect my xbox controller to my pc has stopped working, saying its unrecognised, i have tried updating and uninstalling but nothing is working. It stopped working after i updated some drivers with winzip as they needed updating.

    USB not recognised after years using it.

    Thanks for your suggestion.
    Uninstalling USB Device and booting up and reconnecting the Xpress USB flush drive did not work it was still not recognised on any of the 6 USB 2.0 or on any of the 7 ports on the USB 3.0 hub, although it is recognised on other pc. I am now transferring the data to another USB drive before I format the Xpress and see if it is recognised again in the original pc.

    USB Drives not recognised in Windows 10


    I have just updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and when I plug in a any USB drives are not recognised.

    I have tried a USB stick which worked but not drives do not.

    Any suggestions as all worked in Windows 7.

    microphone stopped being recognised by Windows 10 - worked perfectly for two years

    My microphone stopped working. Windows 10 just doesn't recognise it if I plug it in or disconnect it. It was working perfectly a few hours ago and nothing has changed. Any suggestions? If I right click on the speaker icon, go to Recording Devices its not
    listed. And if I disconnect it by USB and reconnect it, it doesn't show any activity in the window relating to it. Any suggestions?
