Windows 10: USB port not recognising Mouse or Keyboard on LAPTOP It is recognising Xbox one controller...

I have already tried.

• Power settings.
• BIOS settings.
• Updating drivers, removing ghost devices ,installing drivers again.
• Reset the computer with a clean install.
• Using different mouse/keyboard in the port but still not being recognised.

However ,XBOX One controllers work in it and I can charge my phone.


I am clean out of Ideas.


Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Laptop not recognising USB ports. Windows 10. Lenovo G710 laptop

For some reason my lap has stopped recognising my USB ports. I use an external keyboard as it's quicker for me, and an Olympus foot pedal. Neither are recognised this morning.

Lenovo suggest ringing Microsoft. Have any of you lovely people any suggestions that may help me? I'm hoping it's not the motherboard. I'm not that technically minded!

USB Device not recognised by windows.

I am currently using Windows 10 which is upgraded 2 days ago. I am experiencing an issue that windows is not recognising the device which is connected to USB port. Though it is recognising devices like pendrive, keyboard and mouse but not recognising dongle,
mobile devices. I have installed drives too but still windows is not recognising the devices. Can anyone help me out with a solution.

Uninstalling USB Device and booting up and reconnecting the Xpress USB flush drive did not work it was still not recognised on any of the 6 USB 2.0 or on any of the 7 ports on the USB 3.0 hub, although it is recognised on other pc. I am now transferring the data to another USB drive before I format the Xpress and see if it is recognised again in the original pc.
