Windows 10: USB ports, flash drives, and missing camera drives

Okay. So my problems started when I could no longer access my webcam. The webcam itself is in fine condition. I later checked and somehow, the driver had just disappeared from my computer. I attempted to download the driver needed from the webcam company's website, however it no longer seemed to recognize the OS. So I guess, Windows updated and broke a bunch of my ****. At first, I thought the problem was just my webcam driver was no longer compatible with Windows 10. Today, I bought a new webcam in hopes this one would work. When I got home I first wanted to sync my iPod with iTunes, which was a whole other issue since my Apple account has vanished apparently. iTunes did not recognize my iPod. Later, I would want to use a flash drive to see if any of my music was on it. The flash drive does not even show up under my PC. I just tried my new webcam, and that isn't working either. I JUST bought it, and I'm not in a position to be spending money all willy nilly right now. What is going on? Why doesn't my computer recognize any device other than my mouse, earbuds, keyboard, and monitor? How am I supposed to fix all of that?

USB Flash drive made bootable

Hi Nelson,

Check if there is any slide switch on the side that provides write protection. It show's a closed and open lock on each side. We suggest to follow these steps below:

• Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port.
• Click Start, type devmgmt.msc in the Search textbox and press Enter.
• Find Disk Drives and expand it.
• Find the USB flash drive you want to format, and double-click it. It opens the
  Properties dialog box.
• Click Policies tab.
• By default, the Optimize for quick removal option selected, switch it to Optimize for performance and then press
  OK.
• Now open Computer. Right click on the USB Flash Drive and select Format. The Format dialog box now appears.
• Select NTFS in the File System field.
• Press Start and wait while the process will be completed.

You can also connect the USB drive on a different computer and try formatting.
