Windows 10: USB Power vanishes and RDP fails

Hello, We have a number of Windows 10 IOT Machines operation in an industrial environment running 24/7.From time to time maybe once a month, one machine looses USB powers on all USB connectors without any events recorded in Event log.The machine can no longer be accessed and the RDP connection also fails.All applications on the machine works perfectly.The only solution is an hard reboot.I understand this can very much be linked to the mother board manufacturer, However was could possibly cause lost of USB power and in the same time prevent RDP connection?We know USB power is gone because plug

USB Drive vanished without trace -on Windows 10 only

One of my SD Curzer Fit USB Flash Drives, used for media, has vanished without trace from my Windows 10 PC, although it can be opened on my Android Tablet and on my Smart TV. I have a number of utilities which display a list of USB Drives (connected and not connected), such as Nirsoft's Drive View, Drive Manager, USB Library---- as well as Windows Drive Manager in which I have listed the hidden Drives without finding it. Every suggestion I have read fails to work, so I am hoping I will find an answer here!

 

USB settings in Power Plan Options on Windows 10 is missing, how to restore it?

As per the below suggested steps I am trying to disable the USB in USB selective suspend setting in my Dell laptop with Windows 10 Home. however, I do not find the USB Settings at all in two modes Balanced mode or Dell (Active) mode under change advanced
power settings. How to restore it?

USB Selective Suspend Settings, follow the steps below:

1. Press Windows + X.
2. Choose Power Options.
3. Select Choose when to turn off the display.
4. Open Change advanced power settings.
5. Expand USB settings and USB selective suspend setting.
6. Select Enabled (default) or Disabled.
7. Click Apply, then OK.
